Its began exactly 6 months that I surrender myself to a new school. A school that I had never heard and experienced before. There were not pre-requisites for this, but was equally exciting and challenging. Let me tell you my experience here has been out of the world. historically Migration has brought ripples in human development and culture.
It is great to shift from Web 2.0 to E learning 2.0.
So far this journey has brought challenges and learning and i love both.

Its been a long while that I have not updated my blog. Let me break the ice today, all these days I was wondering what is that my blog talks about unique. I did not want it to be all the things in the world, Yes that could be in a way that it includes diverse things that I have experienced and gone through, but I strongly feel that, it should spread expertise and experience in a particular domain....... I thought and thought and thought.........and finally I said why not the have a topic that I work on and I am into............Yes that e learning. Yup Pune is getting ready for yet another Bar Camp! and this time it is even more special an myself and Bhavya, a close friend of mine, we are planning to present something on e-learning.

We haven't done any preparations yet, so I want be surprised if tomatoes come squashing at us. But still hoping to give the best shot.

All these days I have been reading and understanding all about Linux. (pronounce it as Lee and not Lie) I started working on a Ubuntu Platform. I also tried it different flavours like kubuntu, edubuntu and then there are many more. My experience with working on these platforms was awesome. I really enjoyed it. the best part about these operating systems is, you do not need to wipe out your windows you can still try them our with what is called the live CD, this is a bootable CD nd can directly run, though it is a bit slow in running, but you get the taste of the Operating system,before even loading it.

This Sunday, was great, I tasted one of the big time and horrific movie - Hotel Rwanda.

My Review - Its a must watch. for all. Paul Rusesabagina, is a real hero, There is really a great inspiration message that he gives. he is a leader and a bigger than Life motivator, and above all, an extremely efficient Manager. A savor for many millions.

It’s up to the people to decide whether they wanna use a resource, in the right sense or misuse it, I judicially allot my time for work and personal surfing. I take utmost care that I do not end up wasting extra time at places not required. I believe it all has to do one’s effectiveness to work and still play around in Web2.0 and yet be updated and satisfied with it. I have to draw a line between what I feel is important and ‘must do’ as against what is not required. I work for 10 to 12 hours a day and that too much of time for everything on this earth.

Well for me definitely it’s not a time sink.

And yes it’s a competitive world out there! If you don’t grab the opportunity it’s someone else, so if life has become an endless treadmill, of chasing the latest online trends, let it, because there cannot be a better mind exercise than this.
